“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” —James 1:17
Eternal life.
“23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” —Romans 6:23
The Holy Spirit.
“4 On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.5 For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” —Acts 1:4-5
Spiritual Gifts.
“6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.” —Romans 12:6
“Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed.” —1 Corinthians 12:1

Spiritual gifts are unique.
“4 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. 5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6 There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.” —1 Corinthians 12:4-6
Spiritual gifts are needed.
“27 Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” —1 Corinthians 12:27
Spiritual gifts impact other people’s lives.
“10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” —1 Peter 4:10
Spiritual gifts unify the Church.
“7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.” —1 Corinthians 12:7
