WE BELIEVE

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. —Genesis 1:27 NKJV

You were created to be blessed… The blessing is a pattern set by …instituted by God.

In the Bible, the blessing is used to…

Clarify God’s plan for every person. -
and all people on earth will be blessed through you. (Genesis 12:3)

Signify God’s protection.
so Isaac called for Jacob and blessed him. (Genesis 28:1)

Unite a group.
This is the blessing that Moses the man of God probounced on the Istarlites before his death. (Deuteronomy 33:1)

Signify a right of passage.
So they send away their sister Rebecca and her nurse,… and they blessed Rebekah. (Genesis 24:59-60)

It is God’s desire to bless you.

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the children of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. —Matthew 5:3-11 NIV

The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make is face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace. —Numbers 6:24-26 ESV
