Sardis - You are dead!   Revelation 3:1-6

God, the Holy Spirit

   Acts 1:5 – I was baptized in the Holy Spirit.
   1 Corinthians 6:19 – I became the temple of the Holy Spirit.
   Ephesians 5:18 – I am to be filled with (led by) the Holy Spirit.
   Galatians 5:22-23 – I have the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
   John 14:26 – The Holy Spirit teaches me all the things I need to know.
   Romans 12:3-8 – I have gifts of the Holy Spirit.
   Romans 8:9 – Those without Christ do not have the Holy Spirit.
   Galatians 5:25 – I am to keep in step with the Holy Spirit.
   Ephesians 4:30 – When I sin, I grieve the Holy Spirit.
   John 16:8 – The Holy Spirit convicts me of sin.
   1 Thessalonians 5:19 – I can quench the Holy Spirit.
   John 14:26 – The Holy Spirit is our comforter.
   Romans 8:26 – The Holy Spirit helps us in prayer.
   John 15:26 – The Holy Spirit is our living and active Helper.


Revelation 3:1-6

   1. What ultimately matters is what

of us.
    v. 1 – You have the reputation of being alive, but you are dead.

   2. Activity is

as Spirit–led ministry.
    v. 2 – I have not found your works complete in the sight of My God.

   3. If you are resisting God’s Spirit,

    v. 3 – Remember what you received and heard. Keep it and repent.

   4.

. Take this seriously. Do not dismiss it.
    v. 3 – If you will not wake up…I will come against you.


Reminders of Grace

   1. I have forgiven and

so that you can walk with Me for eternity.
    v. 4 – and they will walk with Me in white, for they are worthy

   2. I put your name

of life and will never blot it out.
    v. 5 – and I will never blot his name out of the book of life

   3. I will confess your name

.
    v. 5 – I will confess his name before My Father and His angels
