A Glorious Prayer
July 1, 2022

In 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 we find one of many prayers that God preserved in scripture.  In light of ongoing persecution, the Apostle Paul prays for the believers in Thessalonica about their Worthiness, their Walk, and their Witness.  In so doing, he gives us a model to pray for one another that is consistent with God’s Will and focused on His power & grace.

Questions for Small Group Discussion
1. In what ways have I allowed myself to believe the lie that I must earn Worthiness in God’s eyes?
2. What areas of my Walk do I need to allow God to re-shape/transform?
3. How has my lack of submission impacted my Witness?
4. What do you think makes this prayer special?
5. How will I use this prayer as a model for my own prayer life?
