Why does our emotional perception of circumstances often lead us to doubt God’s provision and salvation even when we have experienced his deliverance repeatedly in life?

How can taking God’s work in history seriously help us respond to God appropriately and lead to flourishing in life? What is required to interpret God’s work in history honestly and accurately?

If God still wants the same things that he wanted in the Exodus and Christ’s resurrection, what can we expect today? And if he respects people’s choices, how should that influence how we share the good news?
