THE MAN OF GOD
“Tell everyone God’s message. Be ready at all times to do whatever is needed.”
2 Timothy 4:2 ERV
Consulting the scriptures we find sinful men owning faith and wisdom that comes from a relationship with God. (See Genesis 6:9 and Genesis 41:38)
What about today? Is there anyone out there who will represent the strength a Godly father can bring to the home?
Oh man of God, show yourself!
God called Moses out from among the crowd of unbelievers to lead His family!
Exodus 3:11-12
“But Moses said to God, ‘Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?’ 12And God said, ‘I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain.’
Put your insecurities behind you, focus on the greater good.
Understand who
are!
You are a child of God, but mere men!
And yet, God has called us to step up to the front line in defense of all the Godly generations who have gone before us and those who are watching us today!
When Moses was questioning God, he was asking for an excuse to abandon his mission. Instead, God gave him credibility. Listen in to his conversation with God.
“Moses said to God, ‘Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, “The God of your fathers has sent me to you,” and they ask me, “What is his name?” Then what shall I tell them?’ 14God said to Moses, ‘I AM who I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: “I AM has sent me to you.”’ Exodus 3:13-14 NLT
“I AM” is the equivalent of saying, “All you need to know is that ‘the Original Being, and the Forever-Will-Be’ has sent me.”
Men – this is our battle cry!
Let your family know who
can be!
God also said to Moses, ‘Say to the Israelites, “The Lord, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.”’ ‘This is my name forever, the name you shall call me from generation to generation.’” Exodus 3:15 NLT
Lead your family to be God-honoring people – humbly seeking him in every turn.
How? Show them. Tell them. Advise them.
You
with God on a Journey of Faith
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob’s stories have beginnings with God and His calling on their lives.
They are all stories of surrender and obedience, sin and forgiveness, humility and honor. But through everything they were…
• blessed by God’s presence,
• guided by His vision, and
• sustained by His love.
The same has been true for every person of faith.
This will be true for all those who are yet to believe! Even your children and their children, and so on.
Guide them toward
and
.
God’s story of redemption begins with reconciliation and restoration.
The mass exodus toward freedom. No longer slaves! (Leviticus 26:13)
Paul says, in Romans 6:6-7, “For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin— 7because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.”
And continues toward a place of promise! A land of provision and peace.
But the Promised Land was not easy. It was a journey that required trust and belief.
God has made our beginnings with Him simple… Trust and belief in Jesus.
Give them

“God has reconciled all things to himself through Jesus…” (2 Corinthians 5:19)
When should we start with our kids? NOW!
Scriptures say, “For [God] says, ‘In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.’ I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.” (2 Corinthians 6:2)
It’s never too early!
Man of God… Show yourself!!
