                                                                  1 Corinthians 15:35
      But someone will ask, “ are the dead raised? With kind of body do they come?”


    I. Will We be Raised/Changed? (1 Corinthians 15:36-55)

  1. There will be both continuity and between our mortal bodies and our immortal bodies         (36-38; see also John 12:23-26)
  2. Our immortal bodies will be of a different and than our mortal bodies (39-41)
  3. Just as we have borne the image of the “first man Adam,” so we will bear the image of the
  4. “second man” and “last Adam” (42-49; see also Genesis 2:7; Romans 8:11)


    II. Will We be Raised/Changed? (1 Corinthians 15:51-55)

  1. We “shall all be changed” at the “last ” (51-55; see also 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18)
  2. The future resurrection of the dead will fulfill what is written in Isaiah 25:8 and Hosea 13:14, and on that day, “death” will be !


    III. can We be Certain that We Wil be Raised/Changed? (1 Corinthians 15:56-57)

  1. The reason that the Christian can say these things to death is because Jesus has given them
    the “victory” over death by satisfying the law’s demands for both and .


   IV. Should We Now Live as We Await Our Being Raised/Changed? (1 Corinthians 15:58)
